Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CO₂ LAB PTY LTD (“CO₂ LAB”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) regarding your use of our software platform and services (collectively, the “Services”).

Service Description

CO₂ LAB provides a platform for businesses to analyze and manage their carbon emissions data. Our Services include data collection, analysis, reporting, and AI-powered insights to help organisations understand and reduce their environmental impact.

Account Registration and Security

You must register for an account to use our services. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it. You must immediately notify CO2 LAB of any unauthorized use of your account.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your account information and maintain the confidentiality of your data. However, you acknowledge that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

API Usage and Rate Limits

Our service includes access to APIs for emissions calculations. Free tier accounts are subject to rate limiting and usage restrictions. Detailed API usage limits are available in our documentation.

Data Rights and Privacy

Your use of our Services is governed by our Privacy Policy and AI Security Policy. We take the security of your data seriously and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

You maintain ownership of your data, and we will only use it to provide and improve our Services as outlined in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except only as necessary to provide our Services or as required by law.

Acceptable Use

AI Technology Usage

Our service uses artificial intelligence to process and analyse emissions data. While we strive for accuracy, you acknowledge that AI calculations are estimates and should be verified against your actual emissions data.

Intellectual Property Rights

The Services and their original content, features, and functionality are owned by CO₂ LAB and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our Services in accordance with these Terms. This license does not include the right to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services.

Modifications and Termination

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of our service with or without notice. We will strive to provide advance notice of significant changes. We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CO₂ LAB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.
